The Lily, Armchair, Arne Jacobsen, 1970/2007/2008
Arne Jacobsen’s chair model 3208 was originally designed for the Danish
Central Bank. It is also referred to as the Lily™ and was first
introduced at the Danish furniture fair in 1970. The chair is made from
laminated sliced veneer and is the result of an extremely complicated
moulding process that ensures the perfect curves and the best comfort.
The 3208 from 2007 is slightly larger than the original.
The Lily™ comes in white, black or red lacquer or full upholstery. All chairs are made of laminated moulded sliced veneer. Full upholstery is available in a wide range of fabrics or leathers. The base version: 4 legs (not stackable) made of chromed steel tubes.
Product.Nr.: 3208-lacquer-b
